Ignite is Youth4Purpose’s launch program, a space where young people build confidence, leadership, and real-world skills through mentorship, hands-on learning, and community connection. From exploring STEM and skilled trades to gaining life and work-readiness tools, Ignite helps youth see what’s possible and take their first steps toward it.

With wrap-around support and a year-end community showcase, Ignite brings together youth, families, employers, and local partners, sparking a sense of belonging, opportunity, and pride across Durham.
