I understand that I am volunteering my services for Chariot Fest Durham 2026 and agree to comply with all event policies, procedures, safety instructions, and directions provided by the organizers.

I acknowledge and agree that:

• I will attend and/or review the required volunteer orientation and safety briefing before commencing my volunteer duties.
• I will follow all event safety procedures, emergency protocols, and instructions from event supervisors.
• Failure to comply with event policies or safety requirements may result in removal from volunteer duties.

Volunteers under the age of 18 must obtain parental or guardian consent. 

Code of Conduct

I agree to:

•⁠  ⁠Treat all attendees, volunteers, staff, and participants with respect.

•⁠  ⁠Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and family-friendly environment.

•⁠  ⁠Refrain from harassment, discrimination, abusive language, or disruptive conduct.

•⁠  ⁠Represent Chariot Fest and ISKCON Durham positively and professionally.

Liability Release

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Youth4Purpose and ISKCON Durham, Chariot Fest Durham, its directors, officers, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and event organizers from claims, liabilities, losses, damages, or injuries arising from my voluntary participation, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Screening and Supervision

I understand that certain volunteer roles may require additional screening, supervision, or approval. These may include positions involving:

•⁠  ⁠Direct interaction with children

•⁠  ⁠Direct interaction with seniors or vulnerable persons

•⁠  ⁠Financial transactions or cash handling

•⁠  ⁠Access to restricted areas

•⁠  ⁠Leadership or supervisory responsibilities
